This is my speed build for Arcane Library Massacre HC Survival/Rift. You can get sub 6 mins runs once you get used to the build. I use fusion Electric Aura, Ensnare Aura, and DST. Since this is a speed build, I wouldn't recommed this build to someone who is just breaking into act 3 Massacre. You need good builders for this, I would say with a minimum of 6.5k power / 3k range / 3k rate for your fusion DSTs, and 4k range for your auras (although I would recommend more like 4.5k-5k).

We'll be playing on a tower boost monk with a striking gemstone, which should buff the aura stack in the middle. You can AFK this build if you set a macro with your tower boost monk to tower boost.

Since this is a build run, I don't upgrade and repair stuff after the start of wave 23. Before starting wave 23, here is how I upgrade stuff:

  • 2 upgrades on the left electric aura.
  • 1 upgrade on the left ensnare aura.
  • 4 upgrades (to tier 5) the buff beam on the left.
  • Max upgrade the buff beam and electric aura in the middle.
  • 3 upgrades on the ensnare aura in the middle. 


Point 1: There's only a fusion electric and fusion ensnare on a buff beam here. This should be enough to hold all the mobs coming from the 2 far left lanes. The upgrades I put there is only so I don't need to repair the auras, so you can do even less if you want.


Point 2: The auras here should go in the middle of the DST, I just put them there on the planner so it's easier to see. Ideally, place them in the middle of 2 DST rows (where point 3 is), and stand just on top (between 4 DSTs) so the striking gemstone buffs the auras. 


Point 4: The reflect beam here is to protect the tower stack from the rift ogres that spawn in the north lane and throw their kobold. The kobold will explode in the air in front of towers otherwise. 


Point 5: Those 3 walls are optional. They can help if your DSTs aren't strong enough to kill the random ogre that spawns at the end of the wave quick enough. If your DSTs can kill the random ogre in any lane before he reaches the core, then you don't need those walls. You can do whatever you want with the 6 extra DU. I personally do nothing since building other stuff will take more time to build. You could, if you want, add for instance an inferno trap.
